星空・温泉・静寂に癒やされる 関金3日間リトリートツアー(2026/11/16出発 2泊3日)
A wellness retreat embraced by the starry sky, hot springs, and abundant nature.
Why not spend three days nurturing yourself ?
Far removed from the hustle and bustle of daily life, restore mind and body with hot springs,
yoga and fresh air, in the nature-rich Sekigane Onsen area, surrounded by majestic mountains.
This is not just a trip. It is a discovery. 〜自分自身を見つめなおす旅〜
In central Tottori, one of Japan’s quietest prefectures, Kurayoshi has been a key hub for merchants traveling the coastal and mountain routes around the north coast of Japan.
Traditionally weaving indigo cloth and aging sake in white-walled storehouses since the Edo period, this town has a long history of trade and travel.
Thirty minutes into the mountains, the Sekigane hot springs have been healing travellers for over 1,300 years.
It was once an important stop on the route between the north coast and Okayama on the south coast.
You will not need a plan here. You will need to rediscover yourself,
with a willingness to embrace peace and the healing benefits of the hot spring.

FAQ よくある質問
What is this retreat?
It’s a 3-day, 2-night wellness retreat centered on the Sekigane hot springs (関金温泉) , in the mountains near Kurayoshi, Tottori.
The program combines onsen bathing, yoga, sound bath and meditation sessions, a Kurayoshi indigo-weaving craft experience, a temple meditation, and free time.
This is a chance to step away from daily life and reconnect with yourself. Experience the spirit of tōji – hot spring healing, in conjunction with other mindful practices, incredibly comfortable beds,
and nutritious meals to restore and nourish your body, mind and spirit.
What is Tōji?
Toji is an old practice of going to live in particularly effective hot spring towns in order to reduce pain. Often it was palliative care. Start bathing for only a short time, 5-10 minutes, slowly building up for longer. If you spend too much time in the baths too often, you may feel worse, so just ease your way into the lifestyle – 5 -10 minutes for your first bath, and for just a few times per day at first. Gradually lengthen your stay in the bath.
Once you book in we’ll send full details of the different baths and how to use them in the traditional way.
Where does it take place?
In and around Kurayoshi City and the Sekigane Onsen area of Tottori Prefecture, central Japan.
Kurayoshi’s white-walled Edo-period storehouse district is the Day 1 base, and Sekigane Onsen — a hot spring village with over 1,300 years of history.
When does it run, and how long is it?
It starts November 16, 2026, and runs 3 days / 2 nights. Check out November 18th.
How much does it cost, and what’s included?
135,000 JPY per person (tax included) .
Inclusions:
– Accommodation at hot spring hotel Hoshitori Terrace Sekigane
– 2 dinners, 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches
– All scheduled activities
– A pass for 3 hot springs visits outside the hotel
– Transport to/from the station and to/from scheduled activities
Where does the retreat start and end?
Both meet-up and dismissal are at JR Kurayoshi Station, South Exit,195-3 Agei, Kurayoshi City, Tottori Prefecture.
Start : 11:00;
End : around 12:00 on Day 3 (with an optional blacksmithing add-on afterward — see below).
Where do we stay?
Hotel Hoshitori Terrace Sekigane, opened in April 2025.
It’s known for radium-rich, source-fed open-air baths with views of Mt. Daisen and the Hiruzen peaks, a sauna with rock-steam (löyly) service, and a universal access design.
Address: 1397-3 Sekiganeshuku, Sekigane-cho, Kurayoshi City, Tottori Prefecture 682-0411.
What’s the day-by-day itinerary?

Yoga sessions are scheduled to take place on the hotel’s outdoor terrace.
In the event of rain, they will be held in one of the hotel’s multipurpose rooms instead.
I’m new to yoga – will I be able to participate?
Yes! The yoga is perfect for beginners and designed with options for all levels. As the goal of the retreat is restoration and healing, the yoga also is designed to assist this without putting extra physical stress on the body. It will all about becoming more in tune with the messages your body is sending, and allowing space and time for your body to repair and reset itself.
What is a sound bath?
Crystal bowls of various sizes are played to create a relaxing environment where it is difficult to overthink – just lie back, look up at the starry sky, and relax. You may go to sleep, and if you do, that’s obviously what your body needs most at that time.
What is the optional add-on?
A blacksmithing experience at a long-established farm-tool maker (Yashima Nougu Agricultural Machinery Industry), for those who want to stay on after the main program ends. Regroup at JR Kurayoshi Station at 13:30; the experience (making a letter opener from a nail) runs 14:00–15:30, with dismissal back at the station around 15:45.
How many people can join, and is there a minimum?
・Maximum 8 participants; minimum 4 to run, so bring your friends!
・Solo travelers are very welcome.

Please message us at 【shirakabe.information@gmail.com】
